He will when Muschamp is gone. I'm sure he'll play very well against Georgia, but I'd hate for him to play out of his mind so we end up keeping the coaching staff and have a Texas A&M type of situation

Straw...you are just hell bent aren't ya? IF we hire a new coach how will you react when we lose our first game? Our second? You will be the Straw that we all know and love...very patient indeed

Depends on: The hire.

Why we're losing.

How we're losing.

If it's an atmospheric problem or a coaching problem.

I think you'd still blame Meyer for what's going on right now -- but I don't think you could say with a straight face that every coach would end up in the same situation as Muschamp.

If: We hire a real head coach and he loses his first few games, I will probably (with great reason to) blame Muschamp.

If: We lose reasonably (you know, not getting blown out at home to a Missouri team that couldn't score a single point against Georgia) to a decent team, I won't blame anyone.

If: We lose due to a lack of execution or a bad bounce at the end of the game that can be wholly attributed to player inability, then I will give the coach a pass.

There are tons of factors when assigning blame, and I think it's quite comical that you think my criticism is superficial and lacks depth. I can assure you, when I blame someone I am looking at a multitude of different reasons.

Why Muschamp is the problem:

Ran the wrong offense with the wrong players his first three years.

Has made numerous mistakes regarding coaching -- his timeout errors have been of a Freeze caliber.

The atmosphere around Gainesville is worse than any year Meyer was here, in fact, it's probably the worst in a long time. Players don't give a frick about the program, and if you can't see that I wouldn't be surprised.

He attracts a lot of bad attention regarding his shite talking -- and his players have emulated it. Beating Tennessee by 1 with the luck of Zeus when Tennessee is playing miserably bad is nothing to hang your hat on at the end of a game.

Just like jawing at an FCS team who is beating you at home isn't a good thing to do.

Muschamp has had numerous critical failures in every facet of the game. Special teams, defense, offense -- everything has regressed under his watch and he has run out of excuses. He has none. It's his fourth year and we still look woefully unprepared, we still have a chip on our shoulder that we didn't earn and worst of all: We're losing games.

Without an enormous amount of luck we would be 1 - 5 right now with our sole victory coming from E. Michigan.

Reel, I know you're a "let's stay positive" type of guy -- but we need to move on regarding the head coach, and the next head coach is going to have a lot of slack from me because we're so unbelievably bad right now.

No one is afraid to play us.
