Oh how I wish it were true, Carolina_Girl.
My point is simply that any college football fan old enough to remember the days of Manning, Stovall and Cannon would not be questioning the authenticity of the Tiger/Rebel rivalry. It got much national press back in the day and was often the "game of the week" from the mid-fifties through the early eighties.
