And Ole Miss will have reclaimed their rightful place as SEC West cellar dweller by then, so it should be a pretty evenly-matched game.

Maybe, but Wake's success has been more recent than Ole Miss. Wake has two conference championships since Ole Miss's last one over 50 years ago.
