So he makes the move after he's on his way out. Makes sense.

Im assuming that you refer to Muschamp naming Treon as a starter for the WLOCP. Of course it never has occurred to anyone that this true frosh qb wasn't ready to start?

To play the whole game when it is on the line and not like Mizzou when they were playing prevent defense.

He wasn't at UF for spring practice and he has only a small portion of the offense mastered ...the coaches have seen him in practice and they know better than you or I. He is a play maker and they hope that instinct will get him through a game. Don't look any further than Harris the true frosh qb at LSU who did the same damn thing basically....sooooo Leslie starts him against AU and the result? a 41-7 beatdown I believe...of course the next week they play us and insert soph Jennings as a starter.
Hopefully we don't have to send Driskel in to rescue the youngster. Muschamp is damn if he does and damn if he doesn't....but just remember he is still standing and in the ring....he has built some cred with a few influential people and beating UGA would help him a lot.

Our defense can win the rest of the games we have if our special teams and offense don't gift wrap anything. Driskel has suffered a mental block and he is no where near the qb he was in 2012 as a true soph.

Our problem is running the ball and we need the qb to help because our rbs are being tackled for 1 and 2 yd gains way too often. Part of it is that our passing attack is woeful and teams are stacking the line. Treon is slightly built and we may see Driskel as a wildcat qb who will come in on short yardage situations. I do know that 3rd and 8 will kill Treon...unless we can get some coaching to design olays to take advantage of the pass rush...so far Ive seen lack of creavity on the O. Jail break screens would be a very good play call once in a while and have our OL blocking downfield.

This is what has happen to Texas A&M with their pass happy offense...teams aren't respecting the run and getting a lot of pressure on Hill. He is not nearly as effective running as Johnny Boy.

Run the ball and come up with third and 2 or 3 yds to go and the defense has to respect run or pas.
