re: RSVP list- for Ole Miss Fans attending the game in Baton Rouge this week

It was great meeting all you Ole Miss fans. Even Worthington Twinkle McChoke IV in his red pants with the embroidered little Colonel Rebs. Some very pretty girls-although a bit too Scots/Irish for my more Mediterranean palate. It was weird that the dudes accessorized and color coordinated more that their girls, but whatever floats your boat I guess. If life's a pageant, Ole Miss proves it is a self-consciously preppy one. This silly girl told me "it's likkkke the Grove but with a lot better food and more booze and spread out for a mile"...

My buddy told me he gave an Ole Miss fan a bottle of Crown at the final whistle, and the guy just guzzled it. I walked out of the stadium and this guy and his buddies were just falling-down drunk. Pretty funny. They were just absolutely shell-shocked. It reminded me that no matter how good a great victory feels, a devastating loss usually feels worse.
