Herschel says he didn't do it.

Oh well as long as he says so. I'm sure that car was just a coincidence.

Isn't that exactly what all of you are saying Gurley should be saying?

I don't know what Gurley has said or hasn't said. It's wrong for Herschel to question Gurley's character on this issue.

Herschel is the man. That doesn't mean he is infallible.

A quote from Herschel's book, and then I will move on:

quote:

They were going to take a second mortgage out on the house to pay for it, and if that Trans Am was what I wanted, well, that's what I was going to be getting.....three years later when I signed my first professional contract with the USFL, one of the first things I did was get some of my money, go to the Bank in Dublin that held the note on my parents' second mortgage, and pay off that car. While an amateur and playing NCAA football, I wasn't about to do anything illegal to risk my eligibility. I say that as someone who believes so strongly in doing the right thing that he decided to major in criminal justice"

Taken from "Breaking Free: My Life with Dissociative Identity Disorder.

Maybe, just maybe, Herschel is special.

Herschel's parents bought it for him when he was still in high school.

You act like a used 1970-something Trans Am is a Ferrari or something.
