When I start thinking about stuff I would have/probably should have done differently, it almost inevitably leads me down a road that renders many things that I'm proud of/happy about moot because there's no way they would have happened in an alternate scenario.
I'm young (26) still, and will inevitably make many more mistakes, but I feel that the best way for me to live is to keep looking forward and bring as much love, respect, and warmth into the lives of the people with whom I interact, starting with family and friends.
So much easier said than done to live without regrets, but I do try.

I quit drinking on May 16. One of my issues since then is realizing the many things I missed out on in life because I would rather go get drunk with my friends.
Pretty sad that I spent most of my youth chasing the buzz and not doing more productive things.
With all that, I am much happier than I was.
