I got to watch him my freshman and sophomore years, if I recall. I think he graduated in '84. I graduated in '86.
I was excited when we started playing LSU right after I graduated. I drove over from law school for the '87 game. Then I drove down from Dallas for the '91 game with a buddy from my firm who attended LSU. Me in maroon and him in purple, both of us shouting our heads off for our respective teams. Fun time.

Yeah, I like what we had going on back then, even when we were not on the winning end. Was an exciting game. It almost seems "forced" now.
