Not really bent out of shape about anything, but I guess I worry that this guy is exactly what the rest of the nation thinks of when it comes to MSU fans.

That's what makes it so perfect. He is EXACTLY what the rest of the nation thinks of when it comes to MSU fans.
I think he would be great on the sidelines. A MSU version of a Yell Leader.....
