Don't understand the extremely low grades for Griffith...he's 8 for 11 on FGs this year and, of the 3 he missed, 2 were from 40+ and 1 was from 50+...certainly seems better to me than the D's and F's some of y'all are handin' out...

His only job is to make field goals.

In our last game, we lost by six points and he missed two field goals; both which should have been made.

How is that better than what we've been accustomed to? If you're missing them when they actually matter then you aren't doing a good job, hell you aren't even doing your job at all.

I haven't selected him out of others either. I have also came down hard on Landon Collins who some want to give excuses for. If you are continually getting beat deep as a safety; you aren't doing your job well.

Same goes for kickers who miss key or multiple fields goals in big matches.

That makes absolutely zero sense. One was from beyond 50. To say that any 50+ yard FG "should have been made", is fricking ludicrous. For starters, use a little of those math and science skills that anyone who calls himself an Alabama fan should have and grasp the fact that as you go farther back, the kicker's target gets smaller and smaller and his margin of error gets less and less. And let's not forget that it was a windy day.

Do you expect every pass to be on the money? You expect perfection, and perfection isn't gonna happen. The facts are that the total production from Griffith has been very good.

50+ yard field goals should be made? Every time? By your reasoning then, I'm guessing all field goals attempted should be made...not very realistic. For field goals less than 40 yards, I'll agree with you...

Also, I think we had negative yardage plays by our offense before both of his misses...so if we don't have those, maybe the kicks would've been more manageable...

Despite the length of the FGs he missed this last game, I can maybe see a poor grade for this game alone...but a poor grade through 5 games? Just not seein' it...
