Sorry guys. A little inebriated. I'm still monumentally disappointed with this staff, but the f this team comment was way out of line. It's not these kids'fault their coaches suck.

Prof, you're usually a voice of reason(with some sunshine pumped in) . Please talk me down from the ledge.

You quoted me, and I have re-read the thread and didn't see a "f this team comment" and if you meant to quote me then you didn't read my post.

That's a tall order InVolNerable. I'm disappointed myself but damned there's just nothing we can do with Coleman getting beat like that. Our oline is what killed us this game and I don't know what to do about it. We gave up 6 sacks at least, one that caused a critical fumble and Worley got hit more than that. I thought we did well passing to Young and Johnathan Johnson - they're both fast and with good hands and I think we ought to have stuck with them a bit more, especially with Malone having some drops and still being a true frosh. Those two aren't our best playmakers to be sure but they're clutch - great possession receivers, imo that need to be utilized more to throw the middle. We are really, really, missing Josh Smith strange as that sounds.

Worley seemed to regress this game. He wasn't nearly as confident as he's been all year. I'm not sure what to make of that but the leadership he had at the UGA game wasn't on display. He came out sluggish and stayed sluggish and the offense can't have that - they're too in tune with Worley and the tone he sets is the tone they seem to follow and play with a lot.

I know it seems like there was bad playcalling but there really wasn't all that much of it. Our oline forces those playcalls and UF's dline forces them as well. Just like last year Jones said we'd go as far as Big Dan could take us, this year he said we'd go as far as the oline could take us and until the oline gets it together we're going to see a lot of this.

Good news - defense is there. Next game is UCHATT and will be a much needed confidence boost for our WRs and for Worley to hopefully heal up and get more vertical. It will also give our oline it's 4th game together as a unit. Also the word on Blair lately was that he'd been much improved and got his stripe off. It may be time to play him if Coleman keeps this up. I know they've been tempted to RS him to give him 2 full years but if he's ready it may be time.

I'm not really mad at the staff but I'm frustrated at the oline. It limits us so much. Also, it's games like this where youth really hurts you - I know we've heard that a lot but it's true.
