He practiced in full pads which is a great sign but we don't know for sure. Hopefully, he's healed up and knocked enough rust off to play.

Some updated info per VQ: Von will dress for Saturday BUT they'll be testing his ankle come game time and it will quite literally be a game time decision.
Josh Smith is definitely out and will be out against UT-Chatt as well.

I would prefer they rest him another week if he is in any way questionable we need both of them for the stretch run.

Absolutely. I'd love to have him play if he's able but that kind of injury is nothing to mess around with - I think the coaches and trainers know that as well. It's definitely not worth the risk to play him if his body isn't healed.
