re: Will Confederate flags be allowed/visible in the Gameday background?

I know this is a joke and a troll, so forgive me for the serious response. But it really needs to be said:

I was working at Ole Miss when the confederate flag stopped being flown. The STUDENT government passed a resolution that the flag should not be flown. To support this resolution and give it teeth, the administration banned sticks. The decision to separate themselves from that symbol was made by the STUDENTS and supported by the administration.

To pretend otherwise, even joking, diminishes the significance of this action and is counterproductive to the cause. If we want to see things improve, we must support and applaud the progress when it is made, not just criticize the lack of it.

Well done, Ole Miss. Very well done.
