Isn't that already a crime?

Maybe we should pile on and prosecute him for a 'hate crime' as well, no?

Make a threat and break three laws at the same time - a hat trick!

No way this kid needs to be sent to prison - he made a very stupid decision, but in this case, the punishment (prison) would not fit the crime

My guess is that he gets a few weeks in county or city lock-up; a few years of community service; huge fines and probation for something like 5 years

I am sure he is already kicked out of school - I think the kid is from Virginia

prison for him would serve no purpose for anyone

So you're all for letting shite like that flow like water under the bridge? You have no problem when someone targets a group of individuals and gets pretty specific about who they intend to harm, and the weapon they they intend to harm them with? You have no problem with a person that says they are basically stalking a group of individuals and intends to injure them?

They haven't found the original person that authored the threat - still under investigation. There were at least 2 others that unwisely chose to publicize their opinions during the panic from last week and they've been arrested, and rightly so IMO.
