First off, I was one of the few who thought Dillon purposefully stomped on the two players and think one game suspension is deserved. Secondly, I thought you were just an overyly-apologetic pussy when you stated you were going to write a letter. After reading your letter, I now know you're an attention seeking pussy over-apologists. What in your letter do you think Keenum hasn't already known? What more do you want out of Keenum? Do you want Keenum to suspend him another game? Doesn't seem like it because you believe a one game suspension is a "fair punishment", so I don't see the point in your post other than to make yourself feel good as a little Miss "I did the write thing today and stood up for what I believe in". There's nothing wrong with that if it helps you sleep at night except for when you do it for attention which is exactly what you did by posting it on this or any other website. We didn't need to see your letter. Did you think we would think you're smart because you called LSU, "Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College"? Or in case we didn't realize how smart you were then, you'd use words like brethren and throw in "Class of XXXX" to let us all know that you're an educated man. Get over yourself. Day made a dirty play and has received the proper punishment in an appropriate amount of time. This entire situation has been blown out of proportion, and you are just being an arrogant, overly-apologetic arse.

Think about it this way - He is receiving hundreds of letters from alumni (that's where the Class of comment is relevant) that are bitching about the suspension and telling him that he has no nuts and he should stand up to the SEC because we are the stepchild, etc.

Receiving just one that basically says, I agree he did the wrong thing, I agree with the suspension, carry on - lets him know that there are at least some in the MSU community that do not like this trashy behavior.

Now, on to your comment.

The wall of text and the lack of paragraphs, as well as your railing on "my being an educated man," tells me that we may have found the elusive MSU sidewalk fan.

Comments like "I did the write thing" tell me that you are not an educated man. Nothing wrong with that - but the fact that I am educated has nothing wrong with it, either.

The LSU A&M comment is an inside joke between Keenum and myself. We regularly refer to them that way. That is their official name, by the way.

I've received a positive reply that indicates that Dr. Keenum is not happy with the publicity this has caused our great university, and he is taking additional steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. Contrary to some beliefs, Dan Mullen and Scott Stricklin do not run MSU.
