I appreciate your clarifying the situation here and really do mean it when I say that I'm sorry for what happened (hence I opted to delete the thread altogether).

I'm also sorry that the collective media hasn't done its due diligence to update the story to reflect that the bogus charges were dropped (the first I'd heard of them being dropped was after you'd posted and I did some digging to find that the Huffington Post had recently updated their old article). I hope that your attempts at having the public record reflect what really happened are successful.

And if I may - while you're here - compliment you on your artwork, it really is quite beautiful. I understand and support your wanting to defend not only your name (first and foremost) but your work and resulting business as well. A lesson certainly learned and I wish you the best

Thanks very much for deleting the post and for your kind words. I know the whole thing is bizarre, and probably my drawing further attention to it is just as bizarre, but WTH. Staying quiet sure didn't do me much good.
