After what happened in SB and other campus shootings, police have to respond no matter what. I hate that people can get away with it or at least think they can.

Internet anonymity and ease of access has really changed things.
There's a practice known as "swatting" now. In online gaming, if one player gets pissed at another, they can trace the ip, and call local law enforcement to report drug deal, homicide, shots fired, whatever, at that location, and police departments have to respond. So, swat team kicks down a door, and it's a teenager playing counter strike.
