If we go into complete ball control mode it will def be an interesting game.

This could backfire IMO. There is nothing more deflating than to drive 7-8 minutes, kick a FG and then have the other team drive 70+ yards in 90 seconds for a TD. Such a strategy could break your team's confidence.

That sets up for our offense even better really. Id rather aTm score fast as possible or go 3 and out. Keeps our D fresh for the eventual stop and eleminates the fatigue factor from yalls scheme. When yall do a sustained drive is when yall really hurt a team from yalls tempo standpoint and thats where I am the most concerned with Ark. Our depth isn't the best.

If we are within 2 scores at half and have had sustained time consuming drives I think the game goes our way... Granted we get the ball to start the 3rd.

But really this is all just blah blah and throw shite against the wall.

Rice tried Ball Control. They held the ball for 45 minutes and our offense was still effective. Arkansas' key to the game will be on defense, plain and simple. Stop the A&M offense and you win. There's just no other way around it. Outside of last years' Auburn & Bama shootout games, each one of our losses has come from the opposing defense stopping us. Let's face it, Arkansas does not want this to turn into a shootout because they'll lose, so they have to stop us.
