Our facilities are not on par w/ UTk's. Not sure why our fans would try to argue to the contrary.

Columbia is superior to Knoxville, that's not really up for debate. Columbia isn't a must-see city in the south, but it's also not a BAD place. It's a perfectly reasonable place to live and work w/ some quality amenities. It's right there in the center of the bell curve. On the flip side, I really dislike Knoxville. Personal preference, though.

SC produces more talent than Tennessee. 54 NFL players are from the state of SC, the number is 35 for Tennessee. UTk fans will no doubt point out that Tennessee is a growing state. That is true, but SC is actually growing faster. SC = 3.23% annually, Tenn = 2.36% annually.

Fans? I'll take USC's any day of the week EXCEPT for alumni giving. Think UTk probably still has the edge there.

History goes to UTk, obviously. That can be a huge recruiting draw, but it fades each year that UTk doesn't make it back into the SEC's upper echelon. It appears as if UTk has finally found a coach who can bring them back in Butch Jones. I think he's a good coach and recruiter.

Way to establish credibility...

Knoxville and Columbia each have ups and downs. I, and probably most people on here, prefer Knoxville. But don't let that get in the way of your worldview.

A quick look at the past 5 years shows otherwise.
