If you use a pro-style offense. Since none of the players were actually fit for that offense. For whatever reason he had a hard on for that philosophy from the very beginning without realizing that Florida hasn't been a pro-style team or recruited that way for over something like 30 years.

Knowing as little as do about Florida, this sounds like a very plausible explanation for how last year unfolded.

Muschamp will probably go back to being defensive coordinator after all is said and done in Gainesville. One has to wonder what Texas would look like right now if Muschamp had stuck around to succeed Mack.

Yeah last year was the worst because we just ran out of talent on Oline as well -- injuries didn't help but with a Pro-Style offense you need a super disciplined team...

Something we also haven't had at Florida since a decade or something -- which isn't a secret.

My real problem was addressed a little above: If we get success on offense, I'd much rather have that dude as a head coach. The defense runs itself, the talent out there has always been good. What we need is a good offense to move the sticks and that's it.

Muschamp ain't that kinda guy. So if Roper leaves, I don't want to see our program suck balls the next year afterwards.

It's tough, because I want Muschamp to succeed but I know he won't be the reason we succeed in the end -- it'll always be the skill of the OC. He may get another HC job, but if he sucks it up this year it's totally out of the question.

Probably go be Georgia's DC.....
