Who cares, they played YESTERDAY. And SC won. It is absolutely stupid to have UGA 13 and SC 14 they day after UGA LOST to SC.

At the end of the year UGA may deserve to be ranked higher, but not today

Using that logic the ranking is even more idiotic. If the scenario you describe bears out, then the ranking will take care of itself. If SC and UGA both win out regular season, SC would have to win SEC CG to overtake UGA. It will probably play out like you said with us losing some more games but it is ridiculous to keep UGA ahead of us. Just ridiculous is ranking teams based on who has easier schedules. Rank teams on who is the best then let wins and losses take care of it the rest of the way.
