My original point was and is the West always has a "bunch" of teams ranked high in the early going and the chest thumping gets loud lording over the East and the end result usually comes down to a close to .500 split in the W/L column between the East and West with West teams falling out and East teams rising into their positions in the rankings.

I'd like to know the last time east and west split at .500 in inter-divisional games.

ETA: Including SECCGs, since 2009...

2014: West 2, East 0
2013: West 9, East 6
2012: West 8, East 7
2011: West 13, East 6
2010: West 16, East 3
2009: West 12, East 7

So, once in the last five years, the two divisions finished at .500 in the regular season. Hardly what I would call "usually".

Its usually close. Im not saying its exactly 50/50 but the difference isnt indicative of the complete dominance that some fans from West teams seems to think they have over the East.
