AJ overthrew open passes every single game
AJ was also sometimes rattled or come out shaky, something Sims has yet to demonstrate and Coker already has
We won 2 NC's and were a freak play from a third with AJ
Sims can run with the ball and more importantly knows when to run with the ball and when to just step up. This is one of the biggest offensive weapons in modern college football.
Sims has been decent-to-great for 6 quarters.
Coker had been terrible-to-decent for 1 quarter.
This isn't a debate as far as I can see
Our quarterback is Blake Sims until further notice.
Roll Tide.

Yeah, Sims looked poised when he called the wrong plays in the huddle, had to have Kiffin call timeout so he wouldn't get a delay of game, is a fifth year senior in the same system who has to have the offensive coordinator spoon feed him the plays, hands off when he should have passed, etc. But, like you said, he hasn't looked shaky at all

So we're pretending that A-day never happened? Cool.

I wouldn't say terrible. How would Sims or any other quarterback look if he was playing his first snaps after being away from football for ten months due to injury?

Open your damn eyes.
This isn't a debate.
Did Saban announce that the quarterback competition is officially over? I must have missed that.

AJ was never rattled from the 2011 Auburn game on.
He was the victim of shitty pass pro in more games than people think. But rattled? He was one of the most poised/clutch QBs in SEC, maybe CFB, history. imo
But I'm not going to argue over it. If anyone disagrees, fine, I don't plan to argue.
