You know.... There was a point in my life when I was working at Pizza Hut. My parents had just kicked me out and I was paying for school and rent and barely making it.
So I went and had a 4 month search for a job with better pay and a higher ceiling. I got a job with about equal pay and started in the bottom rung. I busted my tail and got moved up so that I wasn't eating ramen and peanut butter sandwiches 15 times a week.
Then that job skill translated to a career that takes care of my family.
Not that it would apply to these people because they're being oppressed by the evil rich people and I wasn't and all but it's a nice story.
ETA: never mind. Sleeping Tiger up in here and intelligible debate is over.
