I think many "smart" people, don't research the fields they want to go into or the job outlook, before taking the path towards it.
Do these 'smart' people know where to place commas?

Also, this has nothing to do with 38 year old adults complaining about not making $15 an hour at Burger King.
For a one track thinker, maybe not. But upon further thought it most certainly does -- the statement 'go make a better life for yourself' is unfair when we consider that many people who are highly educated are working in the service industry.

For who? Some people mainly buy local now a days
'Average' was a key word in the sentence you quoted. The average meal eaten by an American travels a frightening distance before it's consumed -- thanks to a centralized power structure in the food industry.
quote:
Ahh.. something I can get into. DEMOCRATS, ENTITLEMENTS AND LABOR UNIONS! There ya go. Your socialism and communism leaning policies led to the destruction and fleeing of manufacturing jobs and has helped turn this country into one of service oriented and not one of production. Thanks Obama. And Clinton and Carter and FDR...
It's astonishing that someone can be this lost.
quote:
Capitalism rewards the smart, hard worker. The way it should.
As it does, in many ways. But at what cost? At the cost of stripping a country of its human and natural resources all because there was a smart guy on another continent that saw a way to exploit these resources with no concern for anything but his own immediate future?

Grammar boom. I bet you feel all superior now.
Define highly educated.
And, once again I ask what does this have to do with a 38 year old deserving $15 an hour to drop some fries into some grease?
Your continuing question basically is stating.. rich is bad. If a Utopia could exist, that'd be wonderful. It doesn't though and until you can eliminate laziness, selfishness and narcissism, along with the greed you want to eliminate.. then capitalism is the way to go.
