I like it except for a couple of points:

quote:

3. The 4 additional At-Large teams would be included in the playoff system

Why? Why not just leave it at the top 8 conference champions?
quote:

4. Top 4 Conference Seeds would get a bye in the first round.

Why? Why should anyone get a 'bye'? that's kind of pussified, just let the top-seeded teams play the bottom-seeded teams. That's all the advantage they need to get for being the top teams.
quote:

5. Seeds 5 through 12 are chosen by Strength of Schedule and BCS system with computerized alorigthm. Semi-final games will be played at the higher seeded teams home field. 5th seed would play 12th, 6th would play 11th, 7th would play 10th, 8th would play 9th.

If you just stick with the top 8 conference champs, you can avoid all this complicated, convoluted bullshite.

8 teams, 7 games:

4 semi-final games to come from pool of Sugar, Rose, Orange, Cotton, Fiesta, Peach.

2 finals go to bowls not used in semis.

1 Championship game goes to highest bidder.

I see your point there, the idea was to assure the once in a generations Cinderella team had a shot at it too; at least I think that was part of the original idea.
