re: Playoff Preview (example from the past): How would you rank 2001 scenerio?

One of my favorite years. Miami, Colorado and Oregon are no-brainers based on the eyeball test.
Colorado was considered the best team at that exact moment in time.
Nebraska is out because CU gave them the worst beating in their history.
Illinois would be my number four. They beat five top twenty teams and were on a great run at the end of the season.
I wouldn't feel great about it though.
