God I am going to have to stay off of this board.

You people are absolutely ridiculous with this shite. Sims played a good game and yall are still ready to move on to someone else. It's embarrassing.

When the SEC rant, who largely hates Bama, is impressed by Sims, and the Bama board is not content with his play, there is a problem.

No one is ready to move on. Sims did ok, but do you think Florida and LSU will give him those gimme throws all game? The goal is championship. No one is saying he can't do it because he hasn't taken the shots other than an average throw to Jones which was dropped, but it's completely unfair to base his deep ball on one throw. Most people just want to see him do it.

We have THE best deep threat in CFB. It's a monumental waste of ability if we don't consistently throw it to him down the field. We're gonna dink and dunk with Kiffin's WCO, but Kiffin also likes to take some shots, and with Cooper you have to.

I've noticed some people are just too damn sensitive. Be a little critical of guys like Sims and Cyrus Jones and it gets blown out of proportion. Sims had a good game. No one is denying that. he had almost 300 yards of offense in his first start. But there is certainly reason to wonder if he can take the next step. CFB has changed in such a short time. You can't win the title with another GMAC.

Sims gives us something else though. No one prepares for a running QB when they play Bama. When Sims extended plays, guys got open and he kept his eyes down field and made the throw. That's a HUGE addition to the offense.
