So if Oregon doesn't lose to Stanford in 2012 or Oklahoma State doesn't lose to Iowa State in 2011 is saban less of a coach?

The fact he loses games every year, 2009 aside, when he ALWAYS has the best team can't be totally ignored. There is no doubting saban's overall coaching ability but he has been extremely fortunate to have the titles he has.

Getting a re-do (though they sure made the most of that), facing Garrett Gilbert, getting to play ND...

Even at LSU they didn't have to play the #1 team.

Agreed. Saban fricking sucks. He should be undefeated every year.
