There is one, unless I am missing something. After a lot of protest, it finally got moved off the top of the State House. However, now it is just front and center on the front lawn. Just as much in plain sight as before. It is time for it to be taken down.

My bad...I was obviously having a flashback of some sorts. It has been removed from the dome and moved to the monument on the state house grounds. It's MUCH more visible in its new position than it was before.

Yeah well at least it's not a part of your state flag.
I know it's a touchy issue with South Carolina, being the original succeeders and all. I don't think it's that big if a deal to have a memorial.

The confederate flag is nothing more than a symbol of pride for the South and its regional culture.
