Even if they pursue it, could they prevail? Clemson couldn't outvote USCe. Same for UK, UGA, and UF. The only team that should be worried about anything like that would be aTm with the other Big 12 Texas schools ganging up on them in the state legislature. But Texas still has more revenue and a larger endowment. Any revenue sharing statute would hurt Texas more than help and be a huge embarrassment to them.

in todays climate of "fairness" in this country, im not so sure that this wouldn't see the light of day and considered in the legislature.

Yes. The PUF (oil fund) is already split unequally between Texas and A&M. To revisit this would be foolish for Texas, and somehow the other universities are locked out of it. Don't know how.

SECN money is going to be great but it's a drop in the bucket compared to the other money at stake in Texas.

Which is why Ags and Teasips in the legislature band together to protect the PUF from the grubby sticky fingers of the red-headed step children schools of this state.
