Right. They came out with a great gameplan. That resulted in 5 field goals mid way through the fourth with our offense putting up the most embarrassing championship performance in history.

Perhaps if we had only put together a better gameplan. Alabama was not invincible that night, you've deluded yourself into believing that for whatever reasons. That LSU team was extremely talented and evenly matched with that Alabama team. No excuse for the lopsided final outcome. It was on the coaching.

Not only is this not necessarily true, it's irrelevant. Lee was having his best year to date and he offered an ability to actually force Alabama's defense to respect the pass. But I guess you're ok with Jefferson and his performance all game long...that was worse than ANY Lee performance against Bama.
