I understand all A&M fans aren't that way. It's much more fun/interesting having sports conversations with reasonable fans like yourself. Appreciate the response and back and forth. Without a doubt, you guys are gaining momentum. This season is more important for you guys then most fans think. With the current state of college football, a couple of consecutive 4 loss seasons can turn a once white hot program to just another school in the west.

Sorry but this isn't a make or break season for A&M.

A&M will still be the only SEC school in Texas.

As long as the Permian Basin and Eagleford don't run dry we will be able to build anything or hire anybody we need to get better recruits.

Yeah, I think most SEC fans who try to give us shite completely forget the rhetoric A&M got when we first entered the SEC and no games were played yet.

"Will you guys enjoy being at the bottom of the SEC? It's going to take at least 5-10 years before A&M is competitive in this conference. If you couldn't win in the Big 12, you're going to have a very bad time in the SEC."

And then we come out with a 10-2 season with a win over #1 Alabama and then we get to beat down the old Big 12 power house in OU. Suddenly the rhetoric changes tune but still in form of slighting A&M.

"You think you guys are so good because you got 3rd in the division? You guys haven't done anything in over a decade before this year and now you act like you been there the whole time."
