Vols replacing both lines...completely. Utah St has won 20 games the last two years. No doubt they haven't played UT's schedule. Don't be shocked on this one. Good win for Jones at this point if he pulls it out.

They have lost just as many returning starters, if not more than we have.

This is going to be a laugher for us.

I know nothing about Utah State's personnel, you maybe right and I hope you are. I saw a line at 7pts. Vegas is far from perfect especially early, but they do this for a living. Kick out the pts for being at home, and they are not as convinced as most Vol fans are that UT is the far better team. Thank goodness for all SEC fans we will have clues soon on all teams.

Utah State did not lose their coach. It's Matt Wells who is entering his 2nd year replacing Gary Andersen who left to go to Wisconsin. Wells was named Mt West COY last season.

Utah State has been knocking on the door of that "marquee" Big 5 win for several years now.

2009 lost to Texas A&M 38-30
2010 lost to Oklahoma 31-24
2011 lost to Auburn 42-38
2012 won vs Utah 27-20, lost to Wisconsin 16-14
2013 lost to Utah 30-26, lost to USC 17-14

Though they have beaten Utah that win doesn't really register nationally like a win over TN would.

USU had some hellacious DLs the last few years and VU hired their DLcoach Frank Maile in the offseason hoping to bring his Polynesian connections east of the Miss. Think it's going to be a game similar to USUs other recent big 5 games (tight all the way til the end).
