Listen to the engine of Stewart's car right before impact. It tells the story. He clearly guns it. It's irrefutable. Stewart is going to have to answer to that. This is bad.
You obviously have no clue how car drifting works.
If Tony is in the middle of a turn drift and slams on his brakes, his rear end is still going to hit the kid. Braking doesn't straighten out the car and on slick dirt at those speeds they certainly don't stop on a dime.
His only choice was to hit the gas and straighten the wheel so the rear end comes around. If he cranks the wheel right, he goes higher on the turn, right in to Ward and his car. If he cranks the wheel left, the back end just slings around to the right even harder and either sends him into a counter-clockwise spin or flipping the car over on its side. Either one of those choices still hits Ward.
His only option was to hit the gas and try to go around him. Ward got too close, however.
Stop insinuating he did something wrong by hitting the gas. You're being ignorant to how these cars and drifting works.

They were under caution. Not at full speed. There was no drifting until Tony gunned the engine. They don't drift at caution speeds. Which is why the kid thought he was safe to walk out there.

And you're obviously very impressed with yourself over your supposed car drifting "knowlege"...........
Meanwhile, there's a video of a car clearly turning left to avoid the kid without accelerating and without any of the bullshite you are saying would happen actually happening.
