that's just on this page of the thread, all from different posters. And 2 of those are after I pointed it out. I don't know if there was some kind of meeting or what, but it's pretty clear that the official party line for any WR discussion is to compare any LSU player or recruit to Speedy Noil, someone who has never played a down of collegiate football. I really don't have a problem with y'all using our Freshman WR as the measuring stick for greatness, but it borders on psychosis at this point.

How do you have any idea he [Anderson] won't be the same caliber as Speedy?

I could care less about Speedy,Dupre is a much better fit for LSU''s scheme.

.LSU got a much better WR prospect [than Noil] in Dupre for the type of offense they run.

Saying Dupre is a better fit for LSU's system is far from spin.

Fair enough, but two comments from tigerdroppings doesn't fairly represent the sentiments of the LSU fan base on speedy going to A&M.
I wish him well and hope he capitalizes on a great, free education at A&M, but for some crazy reason I am confident LSU will survive without a standout slot receiver. I am hungover and didn't make it past the first page, but I just thought it was hilarious like the 3rd comment from an aggie was "Well this doesn't compare to A&M signing Speedy.". they're two completely different prospects that are special in their own right, and there was zero reason to bring speedy into the discussion
