The talent is there. Not all talent develops the way you plan, and some guys don't have the work ethic. It's funny you don't mention guys like Mingo, Matthieu, Landry, Beckham. Come on, dude. If you're going to call yourself a logical poster, don't be so superficial.

I think we are missing each others points. Yes, guys pan out and guys don't pan out. Higher rated guys are obviously more likely to pan out.

I was clearly not being serious. LSU has lots of incoming talent. Fournette will be a Top 10 draft pick, which will be a crazy feat considering the NFL's new unwritten rule of not drafting RB's in the first round. Dupre will be an animal, as will Clifton. While I was kidding and LSU does have talent, I don't think it will be developed by Week 5. That and Florida's offense is atrocious. I just see Bama and OM being a better game. It's not homerism like quite a bit of people in this thread. I just think it matches up well for us.

-In Oxford
-New Bama QB, new LT going up against our DL.
-Most experienced SEC QB for Ole Miss
Year 3 with Freeze vs Smart(this is why LSU kind of scares me this year. Year 3 for Chavis. Improvements have to be made, right?)

Throw everything I've said to the side, I think this game will be a great one due to Bama's offense vs OM's defense, which is completely 180 degrees backwards from every other year, especially with Freeze at helm. Bama's WR's vs OM's DB's is going to be fun to watch.
