What a shame. I've really enjoyed my time in Austin. Honestly, from the friends I've made here, there's just little to no school spirit. they're all pro sports first. Hell, they didn't even really know they had that much tradition in baseball until they made their surprising omaha run. slightly arrogant in general, but nothing unbearable

Austin is the largest US city without a major pro sports franchise. A lot of them honestly treat the schools football and basketball teams like a pro sports team. It's just very different. I do like Austin though
