Here's a link to Chance's story LINK
This is what is father posted to facebook a short time ago:
quote:
We want each of you to know that our sweet and precious Chance is now resting with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. Jenn and I spent a beautiful day with Chance. We are proud of him for being a great kid and for knowing Jesus. God blessed us with a beautiful boy. Chance will forever live in our hearts. We love you forever Chance!
Chance was loved and adopted by our football team and much of the Ole Miss family last year. It's been really moving to see the how he has touched the lives of so many people and how so many of our players have kept in contact with him and his family.
LINK This link is a donations page set up to help Chance's family recover, if only financially, from their unbelievably hard time.
My brother is the same age as Chance and is a survivor of ALL leukemia. I can't imagine what losing him would be like.

I know this family. Chance's father was a year ahead of me, and his uncle was a year behind me in school. They are all outstanding people! I've followed Chance's fight from the beginning, and I have to say, I was in tears when I read Jeff's post on Facebook. Most of us have never actually met Chance, but to say he is an inspiration to a lot of people in our small town would be an understatement. I think its incredible that your Rebs have dedicated your season to him! Good luck fellas, thanks for letting me post in this thread. #FinsUpForChance #HottyToddy
