They never had an unbreakable OS. They just had a customer base that wasn't (and still really isn't) big enough for serious virus writers to care about.

I have a IMac on my desk that I have had since 2008. I have never run any kind of security software, virus software, bla bla..

I do not use it to launch rockets. I do internet, email, pictures, videos, quickbooks , etc.

The damn thing works exactly the same as it did the day I bought it. Just as fast and I have never, EVER, had one single issue with it or the software.. Hell, half the time, I dont even reboot the damn thing for months.


Now I may not have a computer degree but I have been using a computer longer than most of the people on the board has been breathing.

Never had that success with a PC. Never will

Regardless of the reason, it works with no headaches. Or limited ones. There is value in that no matter the reason
