Hardly a little brother. A&M's football history is less than Texas' but A&M has always been a major player in CFB.

As a university, there is nothing "little" about it:
Opened: 1876
Total Enrollment: 58,809
College Station Campus: 53,000
Undergraduates: 44,839
Graduate and Professional: 13,000
Rank: Among nation’s five largest
universities
Endowment: Ranks 4th among U.S. public universities and 10th overall with an endowment of
more than $5 billion
Texas A&M is the flagship of the Texas A&M University System – one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, educating 131,000 students through a statewide network of 11 universities, seven agencies and two service units

Texas A&M Athletics has won a total of 17 team national championships. 12 are NCAA titles

Texas A&M has won a total of 161 team conference and tournament championships. 96 titles were won during play in the Southwest Conference (93 men's/3 women's) while 58 were won in Big 12 Conference play (19 men's/39 women's). Texas A&M has won 7 titles in the Southeastern Conference (2 men's/5 women's)

That is great and all but we are talking football here.

Sorry, I'm not impressed with winning the southwest conference 20 years ago. That conference was a joke and was pathetic. I would be more impressed with winning a big 12 championships or step it up and win a SEC championship.
