No question that Mizzou is the best state journalism school in the nation.
It's so good, and the practicum so difficult, that it takes most students 4 1/2 to five years to graduate.
But even in this era of few jobs for journalists, reps from papers and magazines from all over
English-speaking countries descend on Columbia one day a year.
A degree from Mizzou practically guarantees employment chances for the rest of a student's working life.
It also makes it easier to get into the two giant grad schools, Columbia in New York and Northwestern.
