Probably because during the Kelly era, all we ever heard from both ESPN and Oregon fanboys was "DURRR Oregon could play with an SEC team I tell ya what!" even though their best team ever was beaten by an Auburn team with a horrendous defense and then was absolutely trucked by LSU the next season.

I'd also add Clemson to my personal list -- they seem to be such SEC poser wannabes, and I can't stand Dabo.
