There may be some credence to historical data, but I think the current position coach track record is an extremely important measurement, especially when using it as a selling point to current recruits.
Everybody has a great WR or so from the past 30 years, but these recruits want to know who's going to be developing them now and getting them ready to have an opportunity in the NFL.
