I respect your stance if your being honest, but just because you disagree with something does not necessarily mean it should be illegal. The government doesn't need more power in telling the population what it can and can't do. I'm all for penalizing those who make bad decisions (I don't think smoking AND driving should be legal even though I've done it a few times: you should be others at risk like that)

Don't feel too badly. In talking to many people over the years about DUI, I have only found 1 person that said they have never driven while impaired. I can only take them at their word, but it is telling that only one person out of so many can say they have never driven while impaired. (I asked them this ONLY if they said they drank on a regular basis...meaning once or twice a week)
