Louisiana has two distinct regions, north (protestant rednecks) and south (catholic Cajuns and Créole). The south has several different cultures with the rednecks of the Florida parishes (like north Louisiana), the Cajuns (south west and south central), the river rats that line the parishes between br and nola, and the Créole of new Orleans.

No state in the U.S. is more culturally diverse than the city of New Orleans, let alone the entire state. Even the Cajuns are divided between Prairie Cajuns who were mostly ranchers and bayou Cajuns who were cane and rice farmers, trappers, and fisherman

yea we have no farmers, ranchers, hunters or fisherman in Mo...

yep, completely different...

no Catholics or protestant rednecks either...
