like 'Restore the Roar', I've lived in the land of sugar plum football crazys long enough to know what we were getting into. There is something special about the brand of crazy that the SEC inspires. Like the Matrix, it infuses every aspect of the daily existence of being in the SEC. You can see it in this very thread, the op started by a UGA fan and directed toward Aggie/Mizzou fans, and yet somehow an LSU and sCar fan have convinced themselves, "it's all about them"....

I think in many ways it's been a 'perfect storm' for Mizzou, we needed something to shake up our program and this has been just what the doctor ordered. It's been a fantastic couple of years already and we're just getting started. I'm glad the powers in charge had the sense to see Mizzou as a good fit for the SEC, the "perfect storm" analogy also applies to the landscape of college conference football, it hasn't even debutted and we can already see that the SEC Network is going to shake up the entire world.

Thanks for the kind words about our participation, as our (then) Aggie Chancellor said, this is a 100 year decision that will far outlive what we here today can imagine. So yea, my opinion of the SEC has changed, w/ Aggie and us, it's even better!

I was thinking the very same thing on my way to work this morning.

Missouri in the SEC - with the power of the ESPN-SEC Network behind it - gives us a chance to establish a legitimate national profile for the first time since Dan Devine. That would have never happened in a million years in XII.

And I agree wholeheartedly with with your thoughts on the SEC Network.
It will be second only to the NFL Network among league specific channels.
