OM/Vandy & MSU/UK just want to preserve an easier schedule for their programs. They are not concerned about a "rivalry" game.

That's truth. The SEC didn't mind seeing the UT/A&M series end in the name of earning more money. The SEC trampled on tradition when it ended the Aubrun/UF and LSU/UK series. I don't see why the SEC is interested in protecting certain traditions or rivalries now but wasn't in the past."
1 - NOBODY said a word when TN was pretty much the victor over Alabama back in the '90's.
2 - Ask MSU/UK fans. Their opinion of the rivalry is similar to DSOR & TSIO.
3 - Who said the SEC was the cause of UT/TA&M to not play anymore?
