yep, already posted this yesterday:

Let's look at the top 50 markets each network has in its footprint: (give 50 points for #1, 1 point for #50)

look, bringing in San Antonio/Dallas-FW/Houston/STL/KC markets was absolute genius. All hail the expansion era victors... Mike Slive and the SEC!

It's as simple as that.

Proportional to viewers, or proportional to putting something on the field that fans want to watch?
Texas A&M has an argument.
Florida does not.

blah blah blah,, Aggie and Mizzou both brought in a lot more tv sets than a number of states and some of them have 2 shares going to them instead of one, so what, the SEC will succeed where the bevo12 failed by not alienating it's own members.

If you really think that's a good idea, put a Dan Beebe in charge and let a couple of schools run the show and see what happens...

as for me... NO THANKS!

Schools should seriously consider going down on ticket pricing/donation reqs, at least a little bit. Give something back to the fans that make their fat tv contract so.. fat.

agree, for example Mizzou should put in corner seats on the north end and keep them very nearly the same price as SRO hill which is what they are now. No matter how you slice it, a corner seat is never really that good.
