Sam Walton has the #1 MBA F500 placement. Doesn't hurt (Walmart, Tyson, JB Hunt, Acumen) happen to be 15 miles away.
It all depends on what you want to do. If you want to live in Dallas or Ark/LA but not get another degree from LSU (Same thing I thought about Arkansas years ago for my MBA) then head to the Hill and enjoy yourself.
Texas, Arkansas or Louisiana companies will gladly accept a Walton MBA student. It carries serious national weight in SCM as I posted prior.
Let's put it this way.. One of my certificate programs at Stanford was discussing SCM at Walmart and the professors are very aware of Walton MBA students and are impressed with the program.
P.S. I am not a SCM guy either. Just trying to give you perspective.
